Timothy surprised Brogan with a Central Park proposal, made even more beautiful with the lush green foliage!

Congratulations to this super sweet couple who got engaged in West Village! It was a beautifully bright summer day, perfect for John’s surprise proposal.

We had fun shooting this very adorable couple from the Netherlands who were on a week long vacation to the city. This was day #2 for them so plenty of time to celebrate the momentous occasion in the most fantastic city in the world! Marije was unquestionably bewildered and stunned when her spouse to be got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. Her facial expressions told the tale of a genuinely surprised and heartfelt adventure of a lifetime. They absolutely loved DUMBO and thought the set up of rose pedals sprinkled over a lush and green lawn with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Lower Manhattan was magnificent. The rain lulled for the exact amount of time we needed to photograph this very sweet and happy couple from The Netherlands! It was unfortunate that we couldn’t shoot more of the area (due to lateness) but they were very thrilled and appreciative with what they experienced.

Despite the rains and gloomy weather, this proposal turned out to be just as beautiful as we would have wanted it to be for Elen and Pedram. The pink, white, and purple flowers from Pedram’s bouquet of flowers for Elen and the greenery and flowers in Central Park really helped brighten and make this proposal colorful!

When it comes to proposal shoots, the moment we’re always most excited to capture is her reaction to the question. Jordan’s reaction to Chris down on his knee while the guitarist provides the background music is GOLD.
